During your stay with us why not visit Fraser Island the largest sand island in the world and World Heritage Listed. Fraser Island’s World Heritage listing ranks it with Australia’s Uluru, Kakadu and the Great Barrier Reef.

Fraser Island stretches over 123 kilometres in length and 22 kilometres at its widest point. It is home to the spectacular Lake McKenzie plus a diverse array of native plants, animals and water creatures. It is not uncommon to see a dingo along the beach or a prehistoric looking lizard climbing one of the island’s trees. On your visit you may see dolphins, dugongs, turtles, rays, and the migrating humpback whales (from July to November) that frequent the island waters.

As a Traveler, the best way to get a taste of Fraser Island and everything this perfect island has to offer is to take a guided tour. Fraser Island Adventure Tours is a family owned company operating for 22 years and offer great friendly service. We can make your booking here at Standown Park for your day trip and save you the hassle. Another alternative is to put your van in Storage with us and take your 4WD and camping gear over on the barge. The Barge leaves Inskip Point via Rainbow Beach every day. You will need all your relevant permits for camping in a National Park and this can be purchased as you get into Rainbow Beach.
